So that stupid rodent in Pennsylvania says he saw his shadow this morning. Well, I was watching that stupid rodent at 7:20 AM (watching on T.V., not actually there... I'm not crazy ya know) and it was snowing on Phil and his "handlers". How the hell could he have seen his shadow when it was snowing? I just don't understand weather prediction by animal.
So if you've ever seen the movie Groundhog Day, you're familiar with the whole debacle that occurs on Gobbler's Knob every Febuary 2nd. But what stuck me this morning as I was watching the coverage of Phil and his weather magic was just how much Brian Doyle-Murray (Bill Murray's brother) who plays Buster the groundhog's handler, looks like the actual guy who takes care of the real Punxsutawney Phil. Ok, kinda stupid, but that's my observation for the day.
I was in Rhode Island for the past two days, but I'm too tired to write about it, so I will save it for tomorrow.
