As you may have guessed from my web site name, my last name is Ellis. L-S... get it? Well, you need to know that for the rest of the entry to make any sense.
 Claudine and I figured out something pretty cool the other night. I kind of have a fascination with Superman. I'd always read comics since I was a kid. I always liked Marvel superheros more than DC superheroes, but I read them both about equally. But watching cartoons with my son somehow reconnected me with Superman. Since then I've been all about Superman. Well, she was listening to me explain to Jake about Superman and his parents. As some of you may know, Superman's Kryptonian name is Kal-El. Well I knew anyway. I had known Superman's real name for years, but for some reason I had never connected it to my father. Claudine looked at me and said "your father is Superman". See, my father's name is Calvin. Calvin Ellis. Kal-El. My father is Superman. He must have changed his name from Clark Kent because that snoop Lois Lane was onto him.
I know you're all jealous right now, but it gets even stranger. As I continued to explain about Superman and his father (Jor-El, for those of you who don't know), it hit me. My grandfather's name was George. George Ellis. Jor-El.
I am Superman's son.
