We didn't do anything of note today. Claudine folded a lot of clothes. I folded some clothes. I took Jake and Bobby for comic books and Slurpees. Fantastic Four, Avengers, Simpsons at the comic book store and Coke and blueberry mixed for the Slurpees. If you were wondering.
Annabel got her casts off her legs yesterday. It's much easier to carry her without those casts, let me tell you. When I usually carry her up against my shoulder, her butt rests right on my forearm. And her knees bend so that she is "sitting" on my forearm. But when she had the casts on, she couldn't bend her knees, so she was alway slipping down and coming very close to falling. But know she is very happy to have them off. I don't think she really realized that the casts were a pain in the ass until she had them taken off. I mean, it isn't like she walks or even really uses her legs yet. But it must be so much more comfortable for her to be able to move without anything cramming her feet, legs and hips into one single position.
But, like I said, other than that we didn't really do much of anything today. Can't swim because the weather is just weird. Not really raining, but not sunny and clear either. Not exactly cold, but not really warm either. We played a lot games, did a lot of puzzles, watched a number of Simpsons on DVD. I heard something on the director's commentary that I never really caught before. I knew that Dustin Hoffman was the guest voice in the episode "Lisa's Substitute". But I didn't remember that he did't take a voice credit for it. So at the end of the episode, the voice is credited to "Sam Etic". Because of the Hoffman and the Jewish background of "Mr. Bergstrom" the teacher ("...and for the record, Lisa, there were some Jewish cowboys...").
