Begging for contact

This is a shameless plea. If you are reading this right now, e-mail me. You don't even have to say anything. Just send a blank e-mail. Please? Don't make me grovel.

I am the king of bad movies. I have no ability to turn away from a bad movie. Yesterday, I got hooked on yet another viewing of Stone Cold. This is the big screen debut of that stellar acting talent, Brian Bosworth. Bosworth was the Oklahoma linebacker whose main claim to fame in the NFL was getting run over by Bo Jackson as a member of the Seattle Seahawks. Bosworth stars as "John Stone" , a former cop recruited by the FBI to infiltrate a murderous motorcycle gang. Stone Cold also stars Lance Henriksen as the biker gang leader. All in all, a wonderful viewer experience... again.

Tonight I am flipping back and forth between This is Spinal Tap and Blacula. I hear out there asking, "why are you flipping back and forth when you have Spinal Tap on?" I told you, I am the king of bad movies. Everyone knows Spinal Tap as a great movie, but how many people have seen Blacula? God, it is so bad that I can't turn away. Blacula is a black exploitation film from 1972. Leonard Maltin gives it 3 stars, which reinforces my reasoning for never trusting a Maltin review. Blacula is an African Prince from 1780 who makes his way to Transylvania and visits Dracula. Dracula puts the bite on him and locks him in a coffin. Interior decorators in L.A. buy the coffin from antique dealers and unleash the vampire onto Southern California. And it is a stone groove. The female lead is played by Denise Nicholas one of the stars of the TV show, Room 222. Blacula is played by William Marshall. Most people would know him as The King Of Cartoons on Pee-Wees Playhouse. I'm just hoping that after this is over, they will show the sequel, Scream, Blacula, Scream.
