Can't you stop eating?

I was a complete pig this weekend. I did some exercise too, so I am hoping that I can at least break even, but it doesn't look good. Unless I run a marathon tonight.

I did a 4 mile run on Friday morning. I felt pretty good after the run and was under the 10 minute mile pace. But then I discovered that the Friday's that they have been building in our town is now open. Since Claudine has been champing at the bit, wating for this Friday's to open, we just HAD to go. Did I eat healthy? Hmmmm, no. Nine layer dip and a bacon cheeseburger.

Saturday, I did 40 minutes on the stationary bike and then did some random lifting for the upper body. And then we went to a birthday party at a Chinese restaurant. Did I eat healty? Hmmmm, no. All the dishes were pre-ordered by the hosts and I partook in most of them. Even the egg rolls. I had no willpower.

Easter Sunday. No exercise, but a lot of eating. And it was mostly crap. And before my wife objects to this, I mean it was good tasting food, but crappy for me. But I shovelled it in all day long. And no, I am not going to run a marathon today.

I am seeing some good results (until this weekend). Not really any change in terms of actual pounds lost as measured by the scale, but I have noticed (as have others... woo woo) changes in the distribution of the weight on my body. I think a lot of the results have come from me exercising in the morning, before eating any breakfast. I wish I was disciplined enough to do it more often. Although even if I could wake up early enough, my kids wouldn't let me get away with it. No matter how early I could get up, they would be up ten minutes after I got started.
